Flirty Jude can't distract co-star Miss Jones

Even Jude Law couldn't distract singer Norah Jones from the cameras at her first film premiere.

Law, who stars alongside 28-year-old Norah in My Blueberry Nights, did his best to flirt with her on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.

But judging by their frosty body language she seemed more interested in posing for pictures than recreating their onscreen chemistry.

While Jude, 34, messed about wearing sunglasses and wrapping his arms around his co-star, Norah kept a fixed smile and hardly glanced in Jude's direction.

The film is her first acting role and she is reported to have been director Wong Kar Wai's only choice for the part.

She plays a young woman who takes a soul-searching journey across America.

Norah is more used to sitting behind a piano than being on the red carpet. She has sold more than 30 million records worldwide.
