Fourth time lucky?: Sir Ben Kingsley, 63, with his actress fiancee Daniela Barbosa, 32

Three months after his divorce from German aristocrat Alexandra last year, he unveiled 32-year-old Daniela on the red carpet at a Hollywood premiere.

Miss Barbosa - who at 5ft 9in is an inch taller than the diminutive actor - has assumed the fragrant stage name Daniela Lavender.

Career highlights include an episode of Casualty, playing a maid in Sacha Baron Cohen's Ali G Indahouse and appearing in a £6,000 British movie called Emotional Backgammon.

It was described by one critic as 'an awful misfire'.

Says a delighted Ben, who plays an alcoholic hitman in his latest flick: "I'm very happy. 'Marriage is going to happen, but I don't know when. I call her my fiancée because she is."
