Frank Lampard drowns his sorrows with a mystery blonde

The 29-year-old midfielder was photographed in deep conversation with a woman in a London bar days after his team's devastating loss to Manchester United in Moscow.

The morning after his drinking session, his Spanish partner Elen was seen loading luggage into a people carrier without her engagement ring.

Frank was visibly devastated when his team lost on penalties to Sir Alex Ferguson's Man Utd, despite Frank scoring the equalising goal just before half-time at the May 21st game.

Following Frank's pub session, Lampard's fiancee Elen was photographed outside the couple's Fulham home with their two young daughters.

Dressed in a red maxi dress and black sandals, the 30-year-old's engagement finger was noticeably missing the expensive gem she received from Frank.

The couple have been engaged for since 2005, but are yet to set a wedding date.

It's been a shaky week at the club for Frank, whose coach Avram Grant was fired after just eight months on the job following Chelsea's Champions League loss.

In recent months, Frank has been at the centre of speculation he may transfer to a Spanish team after his Chelsea contract expires this summer.

Frank admitted he is learning Spanish for his fiancée and both his daughters will grow up bilingual.

He said last week: "I have got to talk to the club.

"My contract has obviously been the last thing on my mind in the last six weeks, but I will sit down and talk with them after the England games."

Football woes aren't the only thing on Frank's mind. He tragically lost his beloved mother Pat to pneumonia just a month ago.
