Geri’s love token for her former flame Nick

The former Spice Girl, newly single after splitting from her fiancé Fabrizio Politi, told Nick she wanted him to feel like she was close to him during his trip. Geri briefly dated Nick, 34, who owns Mayfair's Mahiki and Whisky Mist clubs, before she got engaged to Italian tycoon Fabrizio.
Together again? Geri Halliwell and Nick House
Nick completed the Marathon Des Sables yesterday — a gruelling six-day race that is the equivalent of five and a half marathons — in a respectable 335th place.
A source said: "It is a torrid race and Geri wanted Nick to have something that would make him think of her to spur him on. The silver chain shows she still has feelings for Nick and how quickly she seems to have moved on from Fabrizio.
"She remained close to Nick throughout her engagement, and no-one is surprised to see them spending time together again. He is due back this week and Geri has planned a celebration for him at her house."
Geri, 36, called off her engagement to Fabrizio less than three months after the couple announced their plans to wed. The tycoon, who runs a luxury-yacht-building company in Pisa, proposed to the singer over Christmas with a £220,000 ring just weeks after they met in a nightclub in December.
But the affair was doomed after Geri reportedly woke up last month and realised she "wasn't the marrying type".
