She might be more commonly known as Ginger Spice, but there's nothing common about Geri Halliwell's stunning red carpet look.
The former Spice Girl, who recently agreed to reunite with her former bandmates for a money-spinning world tour, channelled the style and glamour of a bygone era for her appearance at an event to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the death of Italian fashion designer Gianni Versace.

With her tumbling Titian locks, and discreetly made-up appearance, Geri turned heads as she arrived at the Palazzo Reale following a ballet performance, for a private dinner organised by the Versace family for 1500 guests.
Geri poured her ultra-slim figure into a floor-length gown with a corset bodice, taking a leaf from fashion forward bandmate Posh, in this season's fashionable nude shade, accessorised with an antique gold clutch.

There was no sign of Geri's new man, Russian billionaire, Evgeny Lebedev. The pair have enjoyed a series of secret dates, but they made their first public appearance together at The Serpentine Gallery summer party in London last week.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "They looked very much together all night and were whispering in each other's ears".
"Geri seemed totally besotted with him and kept touching his arm. And it looked like the feeling was very much mutual."

Donatella said: "It is the most beautiful gift I could do for him. He was a genius and a simple exhibition of his designs would have been banal.
"Fashion wasn't enough for him, he also loved art, music, history and dance."
The designer, whose funeral was attended by Princess Diance, was murdered outside his Miami mansion on 15 July, 1997.
