Giorgio Armani tries to match Becks in the briefs department

Giorgio Armani chose football star and pin-up David Beckham to front his racy advertising campaign.

In the now familiar pose, Golden Balls reclines wearing an open white shirt and just a pair of crisp white briefs.

Tanned and with a honed, toned body, Armani is said to have chosen Beckham, 32, because he reminds him of the famous Michelangelo statue in Florence.

For a 73-year-old he does not shape up badly. But he's given himself quite a challenge, comparing himself to the footballing hunk.
