The group, who have sold more than four million albums in the UK, wowed audiences with raunchy routines to their most popular tracks, including Something Kinda Ooh, at Newcastle's Metro Arena.
The tour comes hot on the heels of their greatest hits album, The Sound Of Girls Aloud, which was released last year.
Girls Aloud, which features Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh, are continuing work on their fifth album, and have recently talked down rumours of a split.

Harding has said: "Don't believe the ridiculous story about us splitting up. Some people just can't stop making stories out of nothing."
The group enjoy being just as outrageous off stage, and certainly don't shy away from their reputation as party girls.
