Glamorous Leona Lewis horses around on the set of her new video

Her rousing performances are winning fans throughout the music industry.

And singer Leona Lewis certainly looked every inch the upcoming superstar at the filming of her new video this week.

The 21-year-old returned home to the UK to film two new videos for songs Better In Time and Footprints In The Sand, following a triumphant performance at music mogul Clive Davis' pre-Grammys party.

Her robust performance drew the attention of one seasoned onlooker, the ultimate singing diva Whitney Houston, who called Leona 'a baby me'.

Davis introduced Leona to her musical heroine - who appears to have overcome her battle with drug addiction - with the X Factor winner declaring "she looked so incredible".

On her website Leona recalled: "Clive Davis introduced us. I don't think I managed to say much though, I was overwhelmed!

"I was told afterwards that when I performed she had said to a friend at the record label 'My God, she's a baby me!' wow - what a huge compliment!"

The former receptionist from Islington, north London added: "It feels so good to be performing live and being able to bring my music to America and perform over here.

"I feel really honoured to have this opportunity!"

Meanwhile, despite reports to the contrary suggesting all was not well with her and her electrician boyfriend Lou, Leona insisted: "He's the one."

A source told The Mirror: "When we're together, it's amazing. My dream is that we'll get married."

And apparently, the pair were displaying all the hallmarks of a couple crazy in love on the set of the video.

As when Leona wasn't busy filming - she and Lou constantly slipped off to her Winnebago.

A source said: "She's so tired after flying over from the Grammys that they kept retiring to her room for a lie down whenever they had a moment."

Leona's debut album Spirit will be released in the US in April.
