Go ahead, make my night: Brangelina dines with Clint Eastwood (and Mick Jagger comes too)

It was a meeting of minds - and whopping wallets - as Hollywood power players Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie dined with Oscar-winning Clint Eastwood in Cannes last night.

And just in case the A-list quota wasn't high enough, Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger also joined the party along with his model girlfriend L'Wren Scott.

The group dined together at the trendy Tetou restaurant ahead of tonight's premiere of Changeling, an Eastwood-directed drama starring Jolie about a mother in 1928 Los Angeles whose child disappears, but the boy returned to her is not her son.

Earlier in that day, Pitt and Jolie were spotted enjoying a shopping trip with two of their brood, Maddox, 6, and Shiloh, who turns 2 next week.

The couple browsed through baby boutique Bonpoint, and picked out handfuls of white outfits as they prepare for the impending birth of their twins.

Jolie - along with her big bump - has been the talk of the Cannes Film Festival, but has taken the attention in her stride.

The mother-of-four says: "It has been lovely. I did my first day, then got to get home for dinner and got to hang out and play Barbies and things."

"It's not such hard work. I'm sitting and talking a lot, and people are being very nice to me. If I was feeling too pregnant, everybody said I didn't have to come. So I was feeling all right."

"The photography and all that can be something that is not fun to live with, (but) when you come here and you're proud of something … then it's a positive thing."

And, action! Director Clint Eastwood is preparing to debut his film Changeling in Cannes tonight

The 32-year-old, who has kept quite on the gender of her twins, is expected to remain in France for the birth.

She is hoping to keep the exact location a secret.

She says: "It's not as much focused on the whole celebrity side of it. It's about wanting the experience of birth, and also spending time with the other children.

"It just should be a very beautiful time, for any woman."

As well as promoting Changeling and her children's film Kung Fu Panda in Cannes, she and is also doing interviews for the action-thriller Wanted, in which she plays an assassin.
