Got it licked: Big Brother housemates fail crisp task

The Big Brother compound was transformed to a food factory yesterday as the housemates donned overalls and hairnets for a crisp-tasting task.
The reality show contestants went from loving crisps to hating them as they were forced to guess the flavours of various type of crisps in a bid to win a token to spend on luxury items.
For the task, the hungry housemates were required to sort 6,250 grams of potato crisps into four different flavours.
Crisped: Sylvia tucks into some crisps for the task
Big Brother placed in the garden a giant bowl of Salt & Vinegar, Cheese & Onion, Worcester sauce and Ready Salted crisps in the garden.
Housemates spent two hours licking each and every individual crisp before allocating it to the appropriately labelled crisp bag.
Once all crisps were separated, Big Brother calculated how accurate the housemates were – only permitting an error margin of 5 per cent.
Despite correctly guessing the Ready Salted and Salt & Vinegar flavours, the group ended up with 11 per cent error margin when they were unable to correctly differentiate between all the Worcester Sauce and Cheese & Onion crisps.

After being informed by Big Brother they had lost the task, the housemates groaned in unison.
Luke moaned: 'All that for nothing. We licked all those crisps. I’m never eating another crisp in my life.'
Executive chef Rex admitted he was baffled how the group couldn't separate Worcester Sauce and Cheese & Onion.
He said: 'They’re the two most different. We should have put those crumbs in the Cheese and Onion bag.'
Despite losing the task, Darnell attempted to see the positive side, declaring: 'At least we finished it.'
Sylvia was furious they had failed the tasks after all her crisp licking.
She fumed: 'How dare they? Straining my tastebuds, confusing my tongue. How dare they?'
