Guy Ritchie's violent Lock, Stock crop

Film director Guy Ritchie seems to be taking style tips from the hardman characters featured in one of his films.

The Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels director has gone for a violent crop, reminiscent of Lock Stock actor Jason Statham, which could see him easily slot in as a cast member in one of his own gangster-themed films.

Whatever must his famous missus Madonna think of his new look? Which combined with a very prominent scar on his cheek, makes the normally handsome Ritchie, 38, look like a common thug.

Maybe the director whose last film Revolver, was universally panned, has decided to jump out from behind the camera, and try his luck at acting as gangster, rather than directing them.

Either way, let's hope he fares better as an actor than wife Madge.
