Hallelujah! Alexandra Burke takes a break for 21st party

After months of hard work on her debut album, it was high time for X Factor winner Alexandra Burke to let her hair down and party.

Birthday girl: Alex arriving at Shoreditch House

Add to that the fact that it was her 21st birthday, and it could have been a messy bash.

Celebration: Alex Burke and pals with a tasty cake

But, while enjoying herself, the Hallelujah singer proved that she's also a level-headed star.

Special guest: Myleene Klass looks happy to be invited

Our spy told us: "Alex had a lovely dinner at Nobu with her family and then headed to her private party at Shoreditch House, where she was greeted by friends and work colleagues. She hired out one of the club's top rooms, which also had a bowling alley in a side room. Everyone had a brilliant time."

Guests included JLS, Myleene Klass, Tinchy Stryder and rapper Chipmunk.

Our source added: "Alex was dancing for most of the night to her song requests, such as Michael Jackson's Billie Jean and Smooth Criminal.

"She had a massive cake and everyone sang Happy Birthday to her. Although the champagne was flowing, it wasn't raucous."
