Harry Potter star overcomes swine flu to attend screening

Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint recovered from a bout of swine flu to attend a screening of the new film.

The 20-year-old, who plays Ron Weasley in the franchise, appeared to be back in good health as he posed with co-stars Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe.

He played down his illness - which prompted filming of the final movie in the series to be rescheduled - saying: "It was just a sore throat."

Watson, 19, who has redirected her talents towards modelling, looked every inch the fashionista in a metallic grey and white dress and strappy platform heels.

The actress, who plays Hermione Granger, joked that she was "getting help dressing myself these days."

Today, journalists watched an advance screening of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which is out on general release on July 15, before a press conference at Claridges Hotel.

Other stars of the film who turned out included Michael Gambon, Jim Broadbent, Bonnie Wright, Tom Felton and Jessie Cave.
