Turning heads: Eva Longoria, who attended the Bambi Awards in Germany last night, appears to have been given a boost

The actress was at the Bambi Awards in Germany, which was also attended by Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes to accept an award for her popular television series.

She said: "I am totally amazed and blown away every time I get outside of America how popular Desperate Housewives is."

"For me to be here to accept this award and be in Germany and in an international community, it's an honour for me."

Seeing red: Eva sashayed along the red carpet in her figure hugging dress

The star recently revealed her admiration for another Hollywood actress, Demi Moore, who reportedly spent more than £220,000 on a head-to-toe surgical makeover to make herself look younger.

Eva said: "I want to look like Demi when I'm 42. It's obviously emotional health. And it's obviously your physical health, but there's a lot of maintenance involved, and I'm not talking about anti-ageing. I'm just talking about general health."

Meanwhile, Eva is also enjoying her newlywed status, after wedding basketball player Tony Parker in Paris earlier this year.

She told Parade magazine: "Every time I think of my wedding, I just smile. I just think what a beautiful man he is. It's funny, because it's so clichéd for women to say: 'My wedding was the happiest day of my life'.

"But I find myself saying that and think: 'Yes, my wedding was the happiest day of my life so far'."

She concluded: "I feel like the rest of my life is just beginning."
