The music mogul was seen carrying two packets of over-the-counter medication while holidaying at the luxury Sandy Lane beach resort in Barbados.
Cowell grasped a packet of anti-nausea and motion sickness tablets, Gravol, and Robitussin, a cough medicine as he left the beach.

Cowell girlfriend Terri Seymour and pal Michael Winner are staying at the exclusive hotel for a fortnight's holiday – where the cheapest room is £1,500 a night, and a penthouse suite starts from £4,800 per night.
But if he really wanted to push the boat out, multi-millionaire Cowell who has also brought along his mother Julie, his brother Nicholas and Nicholas's wife Katie Aylwin as well as X Factor winner Leona Lewis and boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa for the all-expenses paid holiday, could rent the resort's Villa, at £12,500 per night.
The X Factor boss' annual Christmas jaunt to the paradise island with Terri has turned into a pow-wow for the great and the good, as the millionaires live it up on the sundrenched isle.

Millionaires pow-wow: Simon, seen here with girlfriend Terri Seymour, and his millionaire pals Sir Phillip Green and Michael Winner have all decamped to the luxury Sandy Lane hotel in Bardados for their winter holidays
But while Simon hit the gym in advance of stripping off on the white sandy beach, clearly tycoon pal Sir Phillip Green didn't get the memo, as he revealed he's still in possession of a fine pair of man-boobs as he sat beside the X Factor boss on a sun-lounger.
A very overweight Sir Phillip looked in need of a tall glass of something cold, as he perched uncomfortably on the edge of his seat, looking somewhat overheated, while Cowell reclined comfortably on a lounger next to him.
The retail mogul, who signed up Kate Moss to design her own successful clothing range for TopShop, is in Barbados with his wife Tina, daughter Chloe, 16, and son Brandon, 14.

Music mogul Cowell flies his family first-class to Barbados each year for the holiday and no expense is spared.
The X Factor judge will pick up the tab for the fortnight that he, Terri, his mother Julie, his brother Nicholas and Nicholas's wife Katie Aylwin will spend in the Sandy Lane hotel.
The couple were also joined on the sunshine break by X Factor winner Leona and boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa, and his best friend Michael Winner, 72, who has himself shed the paunch - but more through a debilitating illness than a concerted exercise regime.

And apparently his biggest concern before leaving for Barbados was "whether to pay £150,000 for a private plane to and from Barbados for the holiday or slum it with other Virgin passengers in Upper Class return at £3,996".
Decisions, decisions.

Cowell, who is Britain's highest paid TV star with an estimated fortune of £100 million, recently told the Daily Mail about the effort he took to preserve his looks.
He said: "I am vain but I cannot think of one person on TV who is not. It is the nature of the beast.
"I have had Botox but not in an obsessive way. I just like to take care of myself. I am eating a lot better and have cut out the chocolate biscuits and crisps.
"I work out, take lots of vitamins and think I look good for my age."
