Showing off her toned, athletic figure Maria - known as Xisca to her friends - frolicked in the surf with the 22-year-old Wimbledon champion and enjoyed the summer sunshine.

The pair are taking time out with friends and enjoying the good weather in Mallorca after suffering drizzly Britain as Nadal battled to be number one.

Nadal, who beat five-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer earlier this week, reportedly does not like his girlfriend to be present during matches for fear of distraction.

The couple have apparently been an item for three years, but eager to stay out of the public eye, they only let it be known two years ago when Xisca turned 18.

Described by friends as an 'intelligent girl from a good family', the Spanish vixen is currently studying business in Marjorca.

Watching Nadal show off his diving skills and then snuggling up to him in the surf, it looks like their romance is still going strong.

And with pictures like these it is unlikely Xisca will be able to stay anonymous for much longer.
