She's one of the world's most beautiful women, but even Kate Moss feels the need to tinker with her looks.
The supermodel has debuted the latest addition to her body art - what looks like a small anchor tattoo on her right wrist.
The rock-chick inking joins a pair of swallows on her lower back, a quarter-inch heart on her left hand by the thumb and a crown on her left shoulder.
Aye aye: Kate Moss shows off her newest tattoo
Calls to Kate's publicist were not returned, but according to tattoo artist to the stars David Potasnick, whose clients include Gwyneth Paltrow, retro designs are currently in fashion.
'It's definitely a little anchor,' he said. 'Her tattoo is very basic, as small as it could be and just a ten-minute job,' said the artist, who works in Metalmorphosis in the London branch of Selfridges.
Anchor tattoos symbolise stability and a strong foundation and are often used to show commitment to a relationship.
Others to embrace the anchor design include Candian singer KD Lang, Gossip singer Beth Ditto and even Winston Churchill.
Swallows: Kate has used the shape in her Topshop range
And while models are advised not to get tattoos multi-millionaire Kate probably feels she has little need to worry. A solid gold sculpture of her has recently been made, costing £2.8m.
The 50kg Siren is said to be the largest gold statue created since the Ancient Egyptians.
