Hell's Kitchen runner-up Adele set to earn '£2million'

Winning loser: Hell's Kitchen loser Adele Silva is tipped to earn £2million over the next 12 months
Hells Kitchen runner-up Adele Silva has been flooded with offers after proving to be a popular contestant on the reality show - and could earn a reported £2million over the next 12 months.

More than 8 million viewers tuned in to see the 26-year-old go head-to-head with ex-boxer Barry McGuigan, 46, in a gripping finale and following her successful run in the show, big-money offers have been flooding in.

Adele's reported deals include cook books, television programmes, including a cookery slot, modelling and television advertisements.

There are also claims that one company wants to back Adele's dream of opening her own restaurant.

A source said: "Adele is in huge demand and thanks to Hell's Kitchen the world really is her oyster."

"Several companies have come up with ideas for eateries using Adele's name. It's a chance she never thought she'd have."

Adele has a six-figure lingerie deal with Debenhams, who are reported to want to extend the contract.

According to The Daily Star, she is fielding an offer from stage bosses to follow Hell's Kitchen winner Jennifer Ellison into the West End and ITV chiefs are set to create a drama series especially for the Emmerdale actress.

Adele has been on a year's break from her role as Kelly Windsor in Emmerdale and will make her final appearance next month.

Chef Marco Pierre White tipped Adele to win this year's series. He said: "Adele has been fantastic. If she wasn't an actress she could definitely become a chef full-time.

"She is very focused and organised. I think she definitely has what it takes to run her own kitchen. She wanted to learn and listened to what I was saying.

He added: "I hope what I've taught her will change the way she cooks forever."

And a tearful Adele said: "I will never forget the memories I've had from here."

The show's kitchen boss Marco Pierre White, 45, told Barry and Adele: "I'm going to miss you when you go. I tried to get myself voted off yesterday but they wouldn't let me!"

Barry's career is also expected to receive a huge boost. Sources claimed companies were lining up with commercial deals including potato, chip and crisp adverts after the ex-boxer's mashed potato became legendary in the show.

Barry's wife, mother-of-four Sandra, 46, said: "To say Barry couldn't cook before Hell's Kitchen is an understatement."
