But the Dr Who star has angered residents in the market town where she will marry by insisting on a police presence on the day.
Billie, right, who will tie the knot at her local church on the Cowdray Park Estate close to her family home in Sussex, is enlisting the services of the county constabulary to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible.

Lovebirds: Billie and Laurence are set to wed on New Year's Eve
The 25- year- old actress held talks with police in Midhurst yesterday to finalise the arrangements.
Says a police source: "If the wedding is deemed a big enough security risk, it could be made a public order issue.
"That would mean the local police will have to provide officers at the cost of the taxpayer.
"This has caused a bit of resentment in the town. It's New Year's Eve, the busiest day of the year for the police, and Billie is demanding a police presence at her wedding which she might not have to pay for herself."

Guest list: Billie's ex Chris Evans will attend along with his new wife Natasha Shishmanian
Billie has turned down a number of lucrative magazine deals, claiming that she and Laurence, 29, the son of actor James Fox, want their wedding to be an intimate affair.
According to locals, the church is easily accessible to the public.
"It is close to a road which anyone can reach," I'm told.
"For someone with so much money, there's a bit of surprise among the locals that she is using police resources when she could just hire her own security team."
Billie's exhusband, DJ Chris Evans, will be among the guests.
A Midhurst police spokesman confirmed: "There is a celebrity wedding and there will be two officers on duty.
"Further discussions are taking place."
