Hey Reese, what are you doing Wither kimono?

Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon looked a picture of elegance when she ditched her western attire for a traditional Japanese kimono.

There were no pink outfits in in sight as the Legally Blonde actress attended a tea ceremony in Tokyo.

Looking demure, she shuffled along in the beautiful but awkward outfit to partake in the complicated ceremony for the cleansing of the soul.

Demure: Reese Witherspoon wears a traditional kimono on a visit to Japan

As the global ambassador of UNIFEM (United Nations Development Fund for Women) Witherspoon visited surviving cancer patients as well as raised awareness for the disease.

She expressed her involvement in the charity, she said:

'I'm honored to have this opportunity to meet with such extraordinary women, and experience a highlight of Japanese culture.'
