Hot house: Big Brother bans celebrity hijackers issuing sexy tasks

The decision reportedly came after one of the male celebrity hijackers asked if he could get two of the girls in the house to kiss for a steamy task.

The ban has also come just before legendary ladiesman Russell Brand takes up the Big Brother role.

"Celebrities can't give out any sex-related tasks," a show insider told the Daily Star.

"The housemates can't be asked to do anything that they might be uncomfortable with."

This year, Big Brother has introduced a new format following the race row sparked by the celebrity show at the beginning of 2007.

Producers decided that instead they would put 12 "gifted" but unknown young men and women into the house and leave them at the mercy of "celebrity hijackers" who play the role of Big Brother.

The latest celeb to take the hotseat was X-Men star Alan Cumming who forced his young victims to dress up in bizarre costumes.

The housemates clowned around and took part in a group acting lesson.

Hot tub: The housemates have been making the most of their hot tub

Comedian and self-confessed sex addict Brand will be taking over tomorrow.

"Russell is extremely cheeky so we're prepared for some near-the-knuckle tasks," said the show insider.

"However, Russell and other celebrities won't be able to ask the girls to kiss or anything else."

Circus performer Emilia, 18, has already made an impression on the male housemates as the showed off some of her bendy moves.

She also stripped down to a tiny white bikini to take a dip in the hot tub.

The other girls - Amy, 21, Latoya, 19, Jade, 21, and Calista,19 - have also been enjoying time in the tub.

A spokesman for Big Brother said: "The celebrities obviously have guidance.

"They work together with our producers as a team. We couldn't just let them have free rein over things.

"We have the same guidelines as other shows in that regard."
