I'm A Celebrity is a fix, claims Jordan
05 October 2006
The 28-year-old former contestant claimed TV bosses had already decided which day she would leave the show, meaning she had no chance of winning.
She said producers called her mother with the exact date she would be leaving the Australian jungle.
Jordan, whose real name is Katie Price, was on the programme in January 2004, and narrowly lost out to former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona.
The show is also where the celebrity pin-up met her husband Peter Andre, who was also a contestant.
Jordan told the Daily Star: "I'm A Celebrity was fixed. They told my mum that I was coming out four days before I did."
ITV has denied the claims. A spokeswoman told the newspaper: "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! is absolutely not fixed.
"The phone lines are open during the course of the live show and this makes the resulting evictee impossible to predict in advance, as the celebrity with the least votes can and does change right up until the final moment."
She added that producers would not call friends and family members of the celebrities and tell them voting patterns.
