Incredible pictures that show the toll Kylie's comeback had on her fragile body

After pushing her body to its limit during her Showgirl Homecoming Tour, Kylie is completely physically drained and her body is left so weak that she cannot even walk off stage unaided.

It's a picture that demonstrates the physical price she paid taking on a gruelling comeback tour so soon after her battle with cancer.

The star's incredible struggle to carry on with her comeback after breast cancer was revealed in a fly-on-the-wall documentary White Diamond which aired on Channel 4 last night.

Kylie says: "At that point I was just so drained. I felt like my body was a battleground."

"We didn't know how strong I was going to be to get through it. I probably could have waited longer. I really just want to get it done—to be able to move on."

But she adds: "In the end it comes down to me — and if I lose it the whole thing will fall apart."

After the first show of the tour in her homeland of Australia, Kylie realised how tough it was going to be.

"I wouldn't say it was an anticlimax, but I was totally spent. I lay down on the floor and literally felt my whole body sinking down.

"I couldn't even make conversation with anyone. I was useless, just gone," she says in the documentary.

Kylie herself admits the energetic stage show took its toll. At one point, shaky and covered in bruises, she says: "The trouble is I can't really talk. It's just physical and mental exhaustion."

The cameras also catch Kylie as she lies down on concrete floors backstage because she's so desperate to sleep.

The documentary also shows the feisty pop singer in moments of triumph, which were celebrated along side her former boyfriend Olivier Martinez.

Kylie recently nixed reports she'd rekindled her romance with the French actor.

"No. We separated and that was that," she has said. "It cracks me up that I was supposed to be in 'crisis talks' with Ollie."

Martinez was accused of being a love rat, but Kylie says that he wasn't and things were misconstrued by the press.

"Being a fatalist, I always felt that a relationship runs for the duration that it's meant to run."

"We did have a lovely time though, we definitely did."

She admits she still holds strong feelings for the actor: "As far as Ollie and I go, we have a mutual respect for each other and a love that will always be there."
