And clearly she's not superstitious about wearing non-wedding rings on her ring finger.

But as yet the couple, who have been dating for over five years have not made an official announcement as to whether their marital status is set to change.

Beyonce rarely talks about her private life, and in an interview last November with Vanity Fair, when asked if she is secretly engaged to her boyfriend, Jay-Z, as rumours have suggested, she answered with a simple "No".

The same answer greeted the question of whether she is secretly married to the rap mogul.

When asked if she even knew that these rumours exist, the 23-year-old singer replied: "No, I didn't...I'm not. But I'm 'engaged' and 'married' at the same time?"

But it's clear that the the two are serious about one another, as at the launch of the plush new club, Beyonce, and not just because of the ring - was the star attraction.

The curvy singer was on hand to support her man, and perform at the grand opening of the club which ran into a few problems.

Reports had suggested the Las Vegas club may not be open in time for New Year's Eve due to licensing issues, but Jay-Z pulled out all the stops and was able to throw the celebrity-studded party as planned.

Guests included R'n'B sensation Ne-Yo and Mary J Blige, and rapper Kanye West also performed.
