Jade Goody drops her boyfirend Jack Tweed off at court to answer a charge of ABH
She dropped him off outside before driving away again.
He appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court where he denied the charge.
The alleged attack took place in the car park of Chipping Ongar Primary School on the evening of December 20, 2006, and involves a 16-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons.
It was expected that several school children will be giving evidence in the case.
Wearing a black jumper and tight, black jeans, Tweed spoke only to confirm his name and enter his not guilty plea.
He was due to appear before magistrates in November to answer the charges but failed to turn up and an arrest warrant was issued.
At the time he was pictured on the back of a camel with mum-of-two Jade.
Tweed, from Buckhurst Hill, Essex, and his co-defendant were bailed unconditionally until February for trial.
Judge Charles Gratwicke said: "This matter is going on the warned list on February 11 2008.
"Both of you will remain on bail."
Jade herself is no stranger to the local courts after receiving a driving ban for a string of motoring offences last year.
But the dippy star managed to get the ban overturned by convincing magistrates she cancelled her car insurance by mistake.
