Shania Twain has spoken out about the end of her marriage for the first time.
The country singer yesterday posted a message to fans on her website after splitting from music producer Robert “Mutt” Lange, 59, last month.
Twain, 42, said she needed time to mend her 'broken heart' but would be back 'hopefully stronger than ever'.

The message said: 'I am going through a rough time personally in my life. I wanted you all to know that I could not be getting through this without you.'
The pair are to divorce amid allegations that Lange was having an affair with housekeeper Marie-Anne Thiebaud.
Both Twain and Lange - who married in 1993 and have a six-year-old son, Eja - deny the claims.
Twain added: 'I have so much to say but I know the best way for me to speak is through my music. This is my therapy, my passion, and my love.'
The singer had top 10 hits with Man, I Feel Like A Woman and That Don’t Impress Me Much.
