Society girl Jodie Kidd could be dropped by many of her big-name supporters over the latest allegations
Miss Kidd, 28, is facing losing as much as £500,000 in work as a result of the claims, with other firms including luxury car builders Maserati believed to be distancing themselves from the 6ft 1in blonde.
The sportswomen and model has kept her silence on allegations she admitted using the drug herself and boasted of knowing a string of dealers.
Miss Kidd, who has traded on her clean-living image, allegedly obtained three grammes of cocaine worth £150 for undercover reporters from a Sunday newspaper.
BBC sources yesterday admitted detailed discussions were going on over whether to drop Miss Kidd's appearance on the programme.
An insider said there had been "a pause for thought" on whether to go with the programme or not. If it goes ahead the show will go out in autumn next year.
While she has enjoyed huge success as the face of M&S's credit card and appeared in a TV commercials and poster campaigns, she is also a regular guest on TV shows and appeared in the film Gumball 3000: Driving Me Crazy - a movie about the Gumball Rally.
The combination of good looks and talents as a racing driver, polo player and golfer have earned her a reputation as a glamorous tomboy. She also counts Princes William and Harry among her friends.
As part of the newspaper sting she was even accused to attemting to trade in on her royal connections to get a business venture up and running and was said to have described Prince Philip as 'mad'.
When she was asked by the undercover reporters if the drugs she offerred to get for them was of good quality, she allegedly replied: "I'd do it. I'm not going to do s**t. It's not the best, but it's what we can do at half past 12 at night."
At her brother's house near Windsor she was said to have taken £150 in cash from the reporters and handed it over to a dealer in exchange for three 'wraps' of cocaine.
