Having had a breast reduction, the model turned rider eased through the field.
Her mother Amy was among the onlookers but husband Peter Andre, casually dressed in a white baseball cap, just missed his wife's debut in the international arena after arriving late.
The star, real name Katie Price, scored 153 out of a maximum 240 marks and notched an overall score of 63.75 per cent.
As this was just the preliminary stage her score will not be recorded but she expressed her excitement for the sport.
She said: "I really enjoyed it, I've got a rosette which is really good for me. I didn't come here to win it, I just wanted to participate and take part. It was a great crowd.
