According to a close friend, Jude has been having "summit meetings" with ex-wife Sadie Frost, 42 - over their eldest son, Rafferty.
The ten-year-old is about to enter an extremely liberal public school.

"Sadie's been in tears about him leaving as she is not sure it's right, and Jude's been a shoulder for her to cry on," says my Primrose Hill spy.
"He's having lots of chats with Rafferty and supporting Sadie as best he can. And the whole family is to drive to Hampshire for the start of term."
