Jude Law jets 500 miles for romantic date with stunning German underwear model

The 34-year-old actor strolled through a park with with German underwear model Susan Hoecke by his side.

The pair, who are understood to be in the early stages of a relationship, spent a romantic evening together in the 26-year-old's native Berlin.

Enjoying a cosy candlelit dinner, the couple shared two bottles of wine and giggled playfully at trendy Japanese eatery, Shiro I Shiro.

Ever the gentleman, Law insisted on picking up the bill, refusing Miss Hoecke's attempts to split it two ways.

While the model and bit-time actress - crowned Miss Berlin in 1999 - strutted her stuff in a peach smock dress and knee-length black leggings, the Alfie star kept it more casual in a sports top and baggy jacket.

"Jude and Susan seemed really happy and were pretty tactile with one another," said an onlooker.

"Over dinner, initially they both appeared pretty nervous and fidgety but, after tucking into a second bottle of wine, they really loosened up, giggling, at times, loudly and uproariously.

"Susan is a strikingly beautiful girl and not surprisingly, Jude could barely keep his eyes off her."

While Miss Hoecke may not be well known in England, she is much more famous in her homeland.

After making her stage debut in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs - she played Snow White - at the age of seven, the leggy brunette now stars in the hit German TV show, "18: Allein unter Madchen" - which translates as "18: alone Amongst Girls".

Fluent in four languages - including English - she completed the German equivalent of A-levels before embarking on a full-time modelling career.

Hoecke is the latest in a string of women to be to be linked to Law, whose chequered love life has regularly hit headlines.

As well as his rumoured romance with Diaz, Law also briefly dated American magazine editor Kim Hersov following his split with on-off fiancée Sienna Miller last year.

Miller and Law, who met on the film set of Alfie three years ago, became engaged on Christmas Day 2004.

The relationship was rocked by the revelation that Law had an affair with his children's nanny, Daisy Wright, in July 2005, prompting Miller to calling off their engagement.

They later reconciled, but then in October 2005, Law learned that Miller had reportedly had a fling with his close friend, Daniel Craig. He is said to have thrown her out of their north London home over the discovery.

Law married Sadie Frost, 41, in September 1998 and they have three children together Rafferty, 10, Iris, six, and son Rudy, four.

Law and Frost divorced in 2003, a move the Hollywood actor says left him "broke".
