The supermodel spent an hour going through the racks at Cornucopia, a store in Pimlico, central London, that specialises in Victoriana dresses and lace-up boots.
An assistant at the store, who declined to be named, said Miss Moss arrived with two friends and spent about an hour trying on clothing and shoes.
Moss, who is rumoured to be planning marriage to rock star boyfriend Pete Doherty, did not buy a wedding dress, he said.
The assistant said: "She bought a lot of pieces... dresses, shoes. No wedding dress, though.
"She wasn't homing in on anything. It was just a real mixture."
The 32-year-old, who made record earnings this year after recovering from cocaine allegations, arrived unannounced at the shop and apparently asked staff not to discuss her purchases with paparazzi.
Cornucopia is well-known among fashionistas for its "Miss Haversham-style" garments and other vintage items.
