Katie Price in foul-mouthed Twitter attack on Peter Andre

Model Katie Price has taunted her estranged husband Peter Andre on her Twitter web page, it was reported today.

The 31-year-old, who has just returned from a holiday in Ibiza, used the social networking site to attack Andre and said it was his decision to leave their three-and-a-half-year marriage.

In her message, dated 3pm June 22, she wrote: "loving ibiza cant wait to see my children when there back from cyprus ! pete being a true c*** to me ! he left me nt me leave him."

Ten minutes later another message was left by "kates friend julie" that insisted the star was "coping with things ..this was not her decision".

More than 196,000 fans have signed up to read Price's Twitter comments.

The couple, who announced they were to separate last month, found romance on the reality show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.

They have two children, Junior and Princess, and Price has another child, Harvey, from a previous relationship.

A spokeswoman for Price told the Sun newspaper she had posted the Twitter message which was criticised by a children's charity.

Kidscape director Claude Knights told the Sun: "Celebrities have a responsibility not to negatively influence young people. Teenagers have a huge presence on Twitter and young girls model themselves on female idols."
