Kelly Osbourne launches scathing attack on Lily Allen

They are both young, opinionated and highly unlikely to back down from a fight. So it's time to batten down the hatches now that Kelly Osbourne has launched a scathing attack on Lily Allen — suggesting the singer had no input in her New Look fashion label.

Target: Lily Allen was criticised for her Lily Loves clothing line

Kelly, 24, told us last night at the GQ awards: "The wardrobe department on Dancing With The Stars are teaching me how to sew, but I don't think I'm ready to bring out a range of clothes yet at my age.

"I know Lily Allen has done it but I want to do it all by myself and not just attach my name to it. That's not fashion to me. I could do that now if I wanted to. If I were to produce a range I wouldn't even call it my name."

Just so we're clear on what that last comment means, Lily, also 24, launched her range for New Look in 2007 under the name Lily Loves.

Scathing: Kelly Osbourne was on the warpath last night

Lily and Kelly are renowned for their lightning-fast reactions to criticism, so if you're having trouble getting onto the internet in the next couple of days, it'll be because of their increased tit for tat Twitter traffic.

Both were at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards last night, at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, but we didn't spot them chatting together.
