Kylie goes hell for leather in a sexy bondage-style dress

Queen of re-invention Kylie Minogue tried out yet another new do - a Shirley Temple-esque ringlet affair, but it was her sexy leather bondage style dress which really turned heads.

The 38-year-old singer adopted the darkly sexy guise for a night out at trendy gay club Boombox, in east London's Hoxton.

Kylie's black leather mini-dress was made out of strips of leather, but she wore a pair of sparkly leggings underneath to preserve her modesty.

According to an onlooker, even in uber-trendy Hoxton, Kylie's presence brought the popular Sunday night club to a standstill.

A source said: "She was just dancing around like a pixie, in the middle of her entourage.

"Everyone in the club just stopped what they were doing to look at her."

Kylie is clearly stepping up her game in time for a chart battle with troubled Britney Spears as it was revealed they release their new singles at the same time.

The two singers will be pitted against each other in a fight for the coveted number one spot this November with Kylie releasing "2 Hearts" and Britney launching comeback track Gimme More.

And unfortunately for comeback queen who has recently made a return to showbiz after a battle with breast cancer, Madonna will also be unleashing her new album at the same time as the Aussie star.

As part of her return to the limelight, Kylie is said to be planning a live appearance at Children in Need.

A BBC source has said that "We're so chuffed, It's a massive coup. Kylie's presence will really elevate this year's show."

Her album is due to be released on the 21st November and will include contributions from Boy George, Groove Armada and Scissor Sisters.

In other news, the rights to some of the best-known records by Kylie Minogue could soon change hands for up to £8m.

Top music producer Pete Waterman is selling a catalogue of tracks produced by his company PWL, including many early hits by the Australian pop star, such as I Should Be So Lucky and Locomotion.

The catalogue features 45 top 20 singles, which also include Especially for You, the No 1 hit Kylie sang with Jason Donovan, her former co-star in the soap opera Neighbours.
