Ledger had six prescription drugs

The Brokeback Mountain star was found naked and unconscious at the foot of the bed by his masseuse on Tuesday. Police sources said the drugs, found near his body, included sleeping pills, antianxiety tablets and an anti-histamine. A rolled $20 note recovered by officers in the flat bore no traces of drugs.
The 28-year-old Australian recently admitted taking the prescription drug Ambien to combat insomnia and, accordingto unconfirmed reports in the US, had been suffering from pneumonia.
Ledger was filming in London last weekend and police sources said three of the six drugs were prescribed in Europe.
The US medical examiner's office said further tests needed to establish the cause of death could take about 10 days.
Ledger's former fiancée Michelle Williams, 27, who had been filming in Sweden, flew into New York last night with their two- year- old daughter Matilda. The former Dawson's Creek star and her daughter were taken in a black SUV to their Brooklyn home where Williams's mother and Matilda's godmother, fellow Dawson's Creek star Busy Phillips, were waiting.
Ledger is said to have struggled to get over the break-up with Williams last year, which some reports say came about because he had a drug problem.
A close friend said the actor was distressed about the breakdown of the relationship but insisted it did not lead him into drink or drugs.
Australian model Sophie Ward - the sister of supermodel Gemma Ward who had been romantically linked with Ledger - spent time with him while he was home in Australia for Christmas.
She said: "He was clean and wasn't drinking any alcohol or taking drugs. He smoked cigarettes, but that's about it. He was drinking diet Coke when we were together and he said he was very committed to not drinking alcohol. I don't believe he took his own life deliberately."
Williams and Ledger fell in love while filming Brokeback Mountain but split after three years. Her father Larry Williams said: "It has just broken everybody's heart in my family."
