The 22-year-old singer, who has been dating Ed Simons of The Chemical Brothers for two months, has now decided to set up home with him.

Lily is in the process of buying a £700,000 pad in trendy Queen's Park, North London, and 37-year-old Ed is to be part of the furniture.

Lily, who looked a picture of health at last week's British Fashion Awards, told me she will exchange contracts on the property before the end of the month.

"I'm moving there in January," she said.

"Ed and I haven't discussed when he'll move in yet, but we both know it will happen.

"I want the house to reflect my personality, so I'll be in total control of the interior design.

"Obviously, I won't be doing any of the actual painting myself – I'll be telling other people what to do."

Meanwhile, love is also blossoming for Lily's younger brother, Alfie.

The 21-year-old actor was at last week's British Independent Film Awards with his girlfriend, fellow thespian Jaime Winstone, to see her father Ray pick up the Lifetime Achievement award.

"I really love Alfie; he's amazing," confided Jaime, 22, over a vodka cocktail.

The newly-brunette actress is helping Alfie get in shape for his forthcoming flesh-baring role in Equus.

"We've been detoxing together, trying to get healthy," she revealed.
