Lily back on the warpath with rant against Madonna

Lily Allen has rammed her feud with Madonna up a gear by accusing the Queen of Pop of producing poor music - again! The pint-sized singer isn't well known for her reserved nature.

She's famous for reportedly spitting on Peaches Geldof, saying Pete Doherty "should be exterminated" and branding Paris Hilton "soft porn".

Now - for the second time - she's hit out at Her Madgesty, accusing her of only selling records because of her popularity and NOT the quality of her music. Ouch!

And the Material Girl seemed to be taking refuge behind her husband Guy Ritchie as they attended the premiere of kids' flick Arthur And The Invisibles in Leicester Square.

Lily, 21, who's up for four Brit Awards next month (incidentally Madge isn't up for any) lashed out saying: "I never say anything unprovoked, but an interviewer asked me who, in my opinion, was the most overrated pop star.

"And overrated for me is someone who sells a lot of records because of who they are. And I don't think people buy Madonna's records because they think they're really good.

"In fact I can think of another word for them." Hmmm...

Last year Lily began her feud with Madonna - who's 27 years older than her - by saying: "She might have meant something once but I don't know many people my age who care.

"I haven't got anything against her at all but I don't think anything she's done since the early Eighties has really been, like, 'wow'."

Despite her harsh words Lily doesn't seem too worried about coming face to face with the people she slags off.

The singer, who is currently playing the Big Day Out in Australia, said in an interview: "I really don't care. There's a world of celebrities in the UK and nothing makes you more sick than when you walk into a room of celebrities and they give you this celebrity nod and kind of invite you into the group. No, thank you."
