Locked out Amy ready for a lock-in

Amy Winehouse had to make an emergency pitstop after locking herself out of her own flat.

She was due to perform at the Dublin Castle -where Suggs and Madness cut their teeth - as part of the Camden Crawl festival, but her set was delayed when she lost the keys to her Camden apartment.

The Rehab singer, who performed in Bristol yesterday afternoon before flying to London, found when she arrived that she was in no position to tart herself up for last night's headline slot.

Our source said: "She realised she had lost her keys, but thought she could rock up at the venue with no problems. But when her people carrier arrived there, she was greeted by a massive crowd.

"She couldn't face them in the state she was in, so she got her driver to take her to her regular boozer around the corner, the Hawley Arms." After changing in the landlord's flat, she returned to the Dublin Castle - wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger and prompting speculation that she is engaged to boyfriend Blake Fielder-Civil.

Amy also knocked back large glasses of whisky and Coke, two at a time. Six songs into her set, she became angry with the crowd, complaining that they didn't know the words, and stormed off stage early.

She was next seen letting her hair down at KoKo, followed by a return to the Hawley Arms.
