Loose Women star Carol McGiffin showed off her injured foot in a protective boot after breaking her toe in two places.
The 48-year-old presenter revealed she suspected she had broken her toe - but decided to party in high heels until 3am at an awards ceremony regardless.
The next day she had the leg checked out by a doctor who confirmed she 'had done a proper job' and broken it in two places.
Kinky boots: Carol McGiffin has broken her toe in two places after partying all night in high heels
Carol lifted her right leg onto the desk of the Loose Women set and said: 'I had a fantastic week apart from this.
'I was saying last week how I thought I had broken my toe but still decided to go to the TV Quick Awards last week in high heels.
'We were there until 3am and I kept saying how much pain I was in but you all ignored me.
'I went to hospital the next day and they said I had broken it twice.
Carol says she went out without the boot because it is 'so uncool and unsexy'
'The doctor said I had 'done a proper job on it.'
Carol said she will have to wear the white plastic cast for six weeks.
It comes complete with a pump so that the toe is fully protected and supported and makes wearing it as comfortable as possible.
But Carol said she had already gone out at the weekend without it on - because she thought it was unsexy.
She said: 'I have to wear it for six weeks but I've already been a bit sneaky and went our at the weekend without it on.
'It just looks so uncool and unsexy.'
A viewer emailed the show and joked the square front of the boot was specifically made for Carol so that she could get as close to the bar as possible.
