Lorraine Kelly: I eat like a piglet

TV star Lorraine Kelly confessed that she still eats "like a piglet", despite dropping a dress size.

The GMTV presenter went from size 14 to 12 after training for the London Marathon earlier this year.

Weighty issues: Lorraine Kelly finds it hard to keep trim

Yesterday she demonstrated her fitness alongside soldiers, sailors and airmen as she launched Scottish Armed Forces Day events in Glasgow.

The 50-year-old was winched from a helicopter and climbed on top of a tank, before speeding down the River Clyde, to highlight the work of serving and retired members of the Armed Forces.

Several events will be held across the country in June and July to pay tribute to Army personnel and veterans.

But Kelly said her biggest challenge was keeping her weight at bay.

She said: "I'm still eating like a piglet. I was eating well but I was eating a lot. I think it was because I ran the marathon. It was the training.

"What I have got to do now is try to keep it off and that's going to be quite hard. I don't think I'm going to be running 10 or 15 miles a week, that's just not going to happen.

"It's all about balance. I certainly feel better so fingers crossed I can keep it off."
