Lovelorn Rex goes berserk after housemates 'insult' his girlfriend's looks

Hothead Rex Marsden lost his temper again yesterday when Big Brother delivered a photo of a girl who housemates Lisa Appleton and Luke Marsden had said was better looking than his girlfriend.

The offending photo arrived with the weekly shopping and was of Suspect Number Six from the Tuesday's line-up challenge.

During the challenge, Luke and Lisa failed to pick out Rex's girlfriend Nicole from an identity parade of seven strangers.

They passed over the chef's beau to incorrectly select suspect number six, an actress, instead.

The pair was convinced they had made the right decision, and later told Rex the woman they had picked was classier and more beautiful than suspect number three, his actual partner.

So when Big Brother delivered a framed picture of the impostor, Rex was not impressed.

'She's awful, she's awful!' he cried. 'Are you saying that she's better looking than my f****** girlfriend?'

Luke explained: 'This is a bad photo. It's a close-up of her face; we didn't see her face that well.'

'F*** you! That's a f****** insult,' Rex spat. 'My girlfriend is fifty times better than her. All f****** compliments for that girl getting to call herself my girlfriend.'

Embarrassed duo Lisa and Luke took the frame to the Diary Room to complain about the prize.

'We've made a big mistake,' the nerdy student told Lisa. 'I honestly think he wants to punch me.;

But he managed to make light of the situation, adding: 'I think the girl's very attractive, but she's no Rebecca.'
