On the town: Melanie Brown with husband Stephen Belafonte leaving Manchester's Lounge Ten restaurant on Friday night
The couple got together while Brown was pregnant with actor Eddie Murphy's child and tied the knot last June in a Las Vegas ceremony.
The night of fun was a welcome respite for Mel B, real name Melanie Brown, who is in the middle of a bitter legal battle with Murphy, over their daughter Angel Iris Murphy Brown.
According to reports, Murphy claims the affair between them conisted only of three short encounters in which Brown was purposefully trying to get pregnant so that she could marry the comedian.

Adults only: The couple emerge from Fantasy Bar, a Manchester lap dancing club, in the early hours of Saturday morning
Even though Murphy has formally acknowledged paternity, agreeing to give the child financial support, he allegedly wants nothing to do with Brown or baby Angel.
A source told the News of the World: "It wasn't a passionate relationship. They slept together just three times.
"It was clear Mel was desperate to be like Posh Spice and wanted a high-profile catch.
"Getting involved with Mel was the worst mistake Eddie ever made and he'll regret it for the rest of his life."
