Glamorous: Kym Marsh was awarded the most popular newcomer award at last year's National Television Awards for her role in Coronation Street
Kym Marsh thinks she is looking better than ever, but the recently single Coronation Street actress says finding a boyfriend hasn't got any easier.
'I think they're terrified of me!' she told OK!
'Maybe they all think I'm going to tell them where to go, or they believe the press. My character Michelle would tell them exactly where to go.'
The 32-year-old split up with her husband of six years, Jack Ryder, in March.
But in a revealing interview Kym explained that she would always support her former love.
'We are just two people who just grew apart and sometimes those things happen, but we will remain friends and I wish him all the best.'
And despite claiming she leaves men terrified Kym has already met a new man - Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas.
'Yes, we are together and it's early days, but it's all going well and he's lovely,' she admitted.
But the actress is as happy single as she is in a relationship.
'I'm fine either way,' she told OK. 'Everyone wants affection and to feel loved but I get that from my children so I'm not someone who has to have a relationship. I've got great friends and family and when I'm not at work, I'm with them.
'I don't actively go out looking for a relationship, but if it happens, it happens. It's the roulette of life.'
Kym also said she would consider marrying again in the future, but that her children David, 13 and Emily, ten would always come first.
'As long as they're happy I'm happy,' she said. 'Having them so young they're my best friends and we're so open about everything.'
