Court papers show Katherine Jackson will take the money from her son's estate to support his three children.

The amount has been approved by a Los Angeles judge and will see Mrs Jackson receiving $26,000 (£15,800) a month with a monthly allowance of $60,000 (£36,000) for the kids.

Prince Michael, 11, Paris Michael Katherine, nine, and Prince Michael II — who is also known as Blanket, seven — are the main beneficiaries of the singer's multi-million dollar estate, along with his mother and various charities.

The children went to live with their grandmother after Jackson's death in June and Mrs Jackson was granted guardianship.

The court documents show how the money received by Mrs Jackson goes towards the cost of an assistant, housekeeper, driver, utilities, clothing, grooming and other expenses.
