Moss gets a plot for own brand of bubbly

She drinks enough of the stuff, so it's little surprise to hear that Kate Moss could soon be producing her own brand of bubbly. Her boyfriend Jamie Hince has spent £40,000 on a plot of land in the Champagne region of France as a present for Mother's Day.

In a bubbly mood: Kate Moss

We're told: "Jamie has picked the Champagne area of France because he wants to try and harvest crops that will be used to make Kate's own brand of champagne."

Kate and Jamie were at Volstead in Mayfair last night for the launch of the latest release of the hit karaoke game Singstar, which features the music of Queen.

Other half: Jamie Hince with Jo Wood

The couple, 35 and 40, have been out almost every night this week. It's hard to fathom where they get the energy from.

Our spy said: "Kate and Jamie arrived at about 11.30pm and spoke to other guests Jo Wood and her son Tyrone.

"But it got a tad awkward when Jamie's bandmate Alison Mosshart turned up, as Kate was ignoring her. Alison grabbed Jamie for a dance to Kids In America, but then left him to be alone with Kate. Jamie was complaining that he should not have gone out as he had a flight to catch to New York at 4am today.
