Kate, 33, wearing her trademark denim hotpants, drove her Range Rover to the Channel 294 store in Elgin Avenue, which specialises in cult, classic and foreign films.

But their film choices must remain a secret -the DVDs had been taken out of their boxes and put between the shop's own covers.

Unlike his sprightly-looking girlfriend, Pete, 28, had dark circles around his eyes and looked in need of a relaxing night in front of the TV.
