No Sex after the City for Samantha

She won fame as voracious man-eater Samantha in Sex And The City but movie lovers will shortly see a very different Kim Cattrall.

The 50-year-old actress is to play opposite Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe in a forthcoming TV movie about Rudyard Kipling's son(played by Radcliffe) who goes missing in the First World War.

Kim plays Kipling's saintly American wife, Caroline, and work on the film, My Boy Jack, begins later this summer.

I can't wait to start working with Daniel, I am a huge fan,' Kim told me at the Royal Academy of Arts summer exhibition. He's an incredible actor and very mature for his years.'

But Kim was more dubious about her other project – a one-off Sex And The City movie.

She said: I am still waiting for the script to come through. I don't even know if it is going ahead.'
