When asked recently what advice she’d give girls who get branded ‘ugly’, she replied, 'My advice wouldn’t be to them. It would be to the people who think they know what the definition of "ugly" is.

'Who are you to define what ugly is or what beauty is? That’s quite an assumption!'

The new Ugly Betty series is also expected to see the return of guest star Lindsay Lohan, who appeared in the season finale earlier this year.
