Now chart-topper Rihanna sells her own umbrellas!

It's the song that keeps on giving, and after ten weeks at the top, Rihanna's smash single has spawned it's own range of - you guessed it - umbrellas!

In the unlikeliest commercial venture in the history of pop music, the R & B sensation has teamed up with British umbrella manufacturer Totes to launch her own premium line of this summer's essential accessory.

Umbrella-ella-ella: Following the success of her massive hit single 'Umbrella' singer Rihanna has launched her own range of this summer's essential item

Nineteen-year-old Rihanna has lent her name to five new products. They range in price from $14.99 (£7) - for a slender umbrella bearing her name - to $50 (£24) for a large, heavy-duty version.

Strangely, despite the British weather currently causing an unprecendented demand for the item, and the fact the umbrellas are made by a British manufacturer, the umbrellas aren't currently available to buy in the UK. The Totes umbrellas are only available to buy online for US residents at www.totes-isotoner.com.

Rihanna's hit song released in the US in April, is No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has spent its 10th week atop the charts in the U.K.

The teenage singer has sold 5.4 million albums. Her most recent, "Good Girl Gone Bad," has been in the US top 20 on the Billboard 200 for the past six weeks.

Rihanna's reign (groan) in the charts has coincided with a washout of a summer. Let's hope she doesn't record a song about raincoats anytime soon!
