Now Chris Eubank's ex-wife brings back the two boys they gave up for adoption

Chris Eubank could face a custody battle after his sons abandoned their American adoptive mother.

Less than two years after they were signed over to single mother Irene Hutton, Sebastian, 16, and his brother Chris Jnr, 18, flew back to the UK, leaving the bizarre arrangement in chaos.

Yesterday Miss Hutton claimed the teenagers had been 'snatched back' by their natural mother who was angry the adoption had become public knowledge.

Speaking from her home in Las Vegas, Miss Hutton, 51, said the brothers' departure had 'wrecked her life' and vowed to launch a legal battle to get them back.

The boys' natural mother admitted the adoption was arranged so the boys could gain American citizenship and improve their prospects for sporting careers.

But Karron Eubank, 42, described the adoption as 'mere paperwork' and said the brothers would never return to Miss Hutton, whom she labelled a 'traitor' for leaking details of the agreement.

Miss Hutton met monocle-wearing former boxer Chris Eubank, 41, in a Paris hotel in January 2006.

The pair struck up a friendship and eight months later they agreed the boys would move in with her in Las Vegas.

In November that year Eubank and his ex-wife Karron signed legal papers handing over guardianship of the boys. They stipulated that it be kept secret.

The boys appeared to be settling in. Chris Jnr. did well as a boxer and won a place at business college.

Sebastian had dreams of becoming a professional American football player.

However their family life began to unravel two weeks ago after Miss Hutton spoke out about the Eubanks' apparent lack of concern for their sons.

Yesterday she claimed the boys had started to misbehave and said the Eubanks did not send her enough money to look after them.

Sebastian Eubank left America before Miss Hutton's comments, but has not returned.

He is living with his mother, brother Joe, 11, and sister Emily, 14, at the family's beachfront home in Hove, East Sussex. Last Wednesday Chris Jnr flew back to join them.

Miss Hutton, a businesswoman with a 17-year-old daughter, only discovered Chris Jnr. had left when she came home from work to find all his belongings had gone.

She then received a text message-from Karron saying: 'We both know the truth but I have been portrayed as a mother who gave her children away and we both know this is not the case.'

Yesterday Miss Hutton said: 'Now that the story has come out about it I think Karron is scared that she looks like a bad mother so she has snatched them back.'

Karron Eubank said she sent her eldest sons to America because 'it got my children to a safer environment to go to school, to follow their trade and just become dual citizens without having to marry'.

She added: 'There are definitely no plans to send them back to America yet and certainly not with Irene.

'Irene broke our trust and that's it. She's a traitor.'
